Liz McLaughlin

Liz comes to Schoolcreative with 26 years of professional experience in theatre, film television and radio. She has worked in the US, Europe and across Canada. She was a member of the Free Will Players Shakespeare Company in Edmonton for 7 years and has worked at the Citadel Theatre, Theatre Network, Persephone Theatre, The Globe Theatre, The Grand Theatre, PI Theatre, The Gateway and The Firehall Theatre to name a few.

Liz has been a member of the Vancouver film and television scene for the last 10 years. Appearing in such shows as Criminal Minds, Smallville, Masters of Horror, Dead Zone, Millennium, Breaking News, The Outer Limits and Sleepwalkers. As well as a number of radio drama credits with the CBC.

Liz has recently returned from Washington DC where she received her MFA in classical acting with the world renowned Shakespeare Theatre Company.

Her passion for the craft of acting led her into the world of coaching about 10 years ago. Liz has taught at Simon Fraser University, The Citadel Theatre School and Stage Polaris (Edmonton), St Albert Children's Theatre. As far as Liz is concerned there is nothing as exciting as an actor at work on their craft. She brings this philosophy to the Students at Schoolcreative.
